Position Overview

We are looking to hire an Electronics & Embedded Systems Engineer to help us design and develop our next generation of agricultural IoT solutions. You will work as a part of a team of engineers and software developers to design cutting-edge IoT products and work with our manufacturing team to build test equipment to support production. We are passionate about making our products and services easy to use. We’re growing rapidly, and this position will help us scale our product offerings. We have a lot of big ideas, so you should be prepared to tackle large projects and explore new concepts.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with our engineering team to design and develop new IoT products to work within our ecosystem. You will design electrical schematics and PCB layouts for both new products and the test equipment used for manufacturing. Once designed, you will work closely with our software developers to develop and maintain the firmware for these products. There is a wide range of skills needed for this position, so we are looking for someone who has quality experience in at least one of the following areas:

    • PCB Design

    • RF Engineering

    • Firmware Development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

  • Proficiency with electronics design tools such as Eagle or Altium

  • Experience with RF networking and system design

  • Strong software development skills (C, C++, Python, Linux Bash)

Extra Credit

  • Soldering or PCB assembly experience

  • Experience with embedded system software development tools like Arduino

  • Self motivated - able to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Willingness to learn new skills

  • Ability to work in fast paced, collaborative environment
